Associations Of Ill Repute #207

It Is Said That You Are The Sum Total Of The Five People You Keep Associations with Most.

These associations matter. They matter when you want to be a better person and they matter when you find yourself in the gutter. Look around you and see who you spend your time with and see how they influence what you do and who you are. You will notice just how much you all act alike.

It came out today that our president was once an associate and friend with Jeffrey Epstein and through their associations with one another they would have get together’s. They threw a party in the early 90’s at his Mar-A-Lago estate with 28 women and just the two of them. Jeffrey is a billionaire financier who is currently on trial and facing 45 years in prison for sex trafficking and rape charges. He also had a pension for underage women, a fact that Donald has admitted in the past. He did not condemn this fact. Quite the contrary, he likened the man to himself. Donald once said, “he’s like me, he loves beautiful women and he likes them young.” It’s not surprising that the president had associations with this man in the past. Birds of a feather flock together

Consistent Misogynistic Displays

This president has talked candidly about grabbing women in their nether region. The man has been accused of cheating on wives with porn stars and playmates. Meanwhile, he ran pageants for decades with underage women and would frequently visit their dressing rooms while they changed. Feel free to read about his disgusting display at pageants in Rolling Stones, for example.

House Of Cards.

By all accounts this man’s house of cards should have crumbled years ago. Incredibly, he seems to build it up faster than anyone can tear it down. Understand, he is not a good person, politics aside. If you have any proper judge of character you can see this. Yet we always allowed the predator to walk freely among us. He always managed to justify his actions. And from the looks of it he avoided in engaging in blatantly illegal activities from what we know. He just always had associations with these wealthy criminals. What really has taken place? Will we ever know?

Ways To Improve.

5 closest associations

All we can really do is watch out for ourselves. Be careful who you associate with. If you find yourself engaging in actions of ill repute, look around you. It might be those closest to you that help facilitate your actions and it could be high time to disassociate and find a better class of individuals to surround yourself with.

Longest Government Shutdown In U.S. History #179.

Government Stagnation Over Two Fundamentally Opposed Views.

We get absolutely nowhere if we can’t find common ground. As the government shutdown enters its second month. Government employees continue to go unpaid. But only the small fish in the large ocean are struggling. Everyday government employees, the ones who provide security, process taxes, clean our parks. Those employees are getting screwed not the senators or the president or the congressmen and women. My question is when do we no longer have to pay taxes?

I’ve written before how compromise how it’s a lose-lose situation. Which it is. However I didn’t take into consideration the fact that if no one ever sees eye to eye. You stand to lose a much greater loss if both parties don’t give anything. Sometimes losing a little to gain more is the only option.

So each side of the equation needs to give a little in order to take a little. But when both sides want way more than the other is willing to offer, you get into a stalemate. And that’s where we are with the government shutdown. Hopefully the two parties can reconcile their differences and come to a peaceful resolution where all parties involved end up with a few of their concessions. It’s the only way we’re ever going to end this government shutdown.

Blowing It Scenario #89-Is The Free Market Really Free.

Businesses Claim To Want A Free Market But When It Infringes On Their Own Profits. They Will Get The Government To Shut Others Down And Imprison. The Antithesis Of Free.

This is what happened when an incredibly talented innovator came head to head with the Microsoft juggernaut. Eric Lundgren an e-waste inventor who has built an electric car from computer scrap that out distanced a Tesla, was sentenced to 15 months in prison for conspiracy to traffic in counterfeit goods and criminal copyright infringement. Why? Because this good samaritan who is actually doing good in the world and creating things out of our toxic junk simply wanted to supply computer refurbishers with Microsoft windows. So that when computers crash but were already licensed with windows it can easily be installed back on the computer.

He was literally trying to help people who already had the program, just get their program back on to the computer without having to buy a new license or whole new program. And here in lies the problem. That cuts into future profits which is a big no no. We can’t be having that. So we get the Government to step in and set up a sting to purchase these c.d.’s, for next to nothing. Eric had them made for 5 cents and was selling them to refurbishers for 25 cents.

This was not a money making endeavor. Yet when the corporation sells new licenses they want $25 dollars. Simply the same program you had before now cost you more money to reinstall. Businesses would like you to think they support free markets and that competition is allowed in their domain but it isn’t and free is the mortal enemy. It’s all highly controlled and if you’re big enough you can get the government to do the bidding for you.

Blowing It Scenario #88-Using Atrocities As A Catalyst For Anger.

Don’t Let What Happens To Another Negatively Effect The Way You Treat Individuals.

All to often we’ll hear in the news about something negative that recently happened. Excessive police force, mass shootings, racial violence, racial profiling. These are all terrible actions and should be abolished from the general psyche but they do happen. And we’ll take these actions of a few, place them into a whole encompassing category, we’ll gather every one who’s ever been part of the system and we’ll lump them into one sum meaning. That the whole system is corrupt. Than we’ll create these group hate attacks on that system.

Only small sects of society does this but it’s highly toxic and nobody wins. Police brutality, hate the police, mass shootings, hate gun supporters, racial violence, hate the race the contributed to it, racial profiling hate the businesses and the people that perpetrated the incident. But in some cases the distinguished among us allow us an opportunity to learn from others actions and not only grow from them. They help to better society while they are at it.

This is exactly what happened when two black men were arrested in a Starbucks coffee shop just for being in there. They broke no laws and were minding their own business yet they were arrested and it was national news. Many would usually protest or call for a boycott. However, did these two gentlemen make a big scene and tell the world how unjust it is? Nope, wanted other to learn from the incident so they simply settled with the state for one whole dollar each and ask $200,000 to be donated to help high school students to develop entrepreneurial skills. And what did Starbucks do, they shut down all locations for a day to train their staff on compassionate interaction with individuals.

So many more benefited from this peaceful demonstration, then the usual go to of anger resentment and frustration of the disenfranchised. We need to encourage more actions like the ones these two gentleman displayed and have society operate with an eye for improvement especially when it seem all hope has faded.

Blowing It Scenario #79-Democratic Party Sues Trump Campaign, Wikileaks and Russian Government Over Alleged Campaign Conspiracy.

Now The DNC Is Just Grasping At Straws To Save Face.

You lost the 2016 election, suck it up and get over it. In the mean time, take some damn responsibility for it as well. Stop blaming others for your problems. It’s issues like this that make people vote against you and not with you. The DNC themselves colluded to disrupt democracy in the 2016 elections when they chose Hillary Clinton would when the DNC Presidential nomination and absolutely no one else at all cost. Not even Bernie Sanders, who had commanding support across the nation and most likely would have won the Presidency had the Democratic party not disrupted his ascendance. And because of the fall out they needed to point the finger at everyone else. Poor DNC, a website designed to keep governments honest spilled the beans on their nefarious actions.

Now the DNC wants to sue the Trump campaign, why because they did their job and won. They want to sue the Russian Government, well that just because we blame them for everything bad in world politics today, so an easy target. And sue Wikileaks, a website where the owner is banned from so many countries because he has successful exposed the truth behind many atrocious acts governments around the world have committed. Leaking information those who are a part of never want it to see the light of day. And will do anything in their power to stop it. It’s why it’s founder Julian Assange must to live in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. Many Governments want him behind bars so this highly skilled watchdog can no longer expose their deep dark secrets.

Look Democratic National Committee you failed, understand that. Quit searching the past scapegoats and reconciliation, move forward. Build a better committee, one that the american people are excited to support again. Because while your grasping at straws of the past, the rest of us are looking to move forward with or without you.

Blowing It Scenario #78-Freedom Of Speech Ceases When Money Is On The Line.

Freedom Of Speech Is Part Of The Constitution But Not Necessarily A Good Thing When Practiced In Business.

It could end up being the catalyst to set your entire world crumbling down. Recently, soon after the passing of the former first lady Barbara Bush, a Fresno State professor tweeted a message calling the former first lady and first mother a racist saying “Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. F*** outta here with your nice words,” and concluded with “I’m happy the witch is dead. Can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis have.” This professor has every right in the world to say this and I’ll defend everyone’s right to do the same. This whole website is an act of free speech. We exercise these rights daily.

However in this case, this is quite the tasteless act. It’s this spit on the grave mentality, that’s slightly appalling. Respect those who are mourning the loss, any loss for that matter, respect the recently deceased.  How is this women who made these remarks even a professor? Is she a professor in hate speak? I do understand her frustrations though, the bush family were not saints. But their is a time and a place for venting those frustrations and right after a death is not the best time. That is unless you are trying to draw negative publicity to yourself and your business you operate under. Now donors of Fresno State are considering no longer making contributions to the school. Money will force the school to act counterintuitive to freedom of speech.

That is often the case in our society we vote with our dollars. The brands you buy, the institutions you donate to, the businesses you frequent, are all votes with your dollars. It will be interesting to see how Fresno State handles this situation since some of their voters are voting against this professor by withholding their checkbooks. Yet the professor has tenure so the school will be between a rock and a hard place. Another risky status a business to give another, is that of tenure. Giving them the right to do whatever they want without ever being fired. It’s a lot of trust and you can only hope those with it don’t betray that trust. I’m sure it will all get sorted and brushed under the rug some way or another. Just know one event, one action, one tweet, even if you’re exercising your right to free speech, can send a cascade of events crashing into to you or down around you. Make sure that cascade is a positive one. Because you can gain so much, or lose it all, in just the blink of an eye.

Blowing It Scenario #45-Supreme Court Ruling Of Citizen United Is Basically Equal to Russian Meddling In Our Elections

President Said He Would Crack Down On Russian Meddling In U.S. Elections He Should Start With Over Turning Citizens United.

I love this constant talk about Russian Meddling in our elections. I think it’s absolutely hilarious how the media paints a picture of some other country messed up our elections process and now is at fault for our unhappiness in the new state of affairs. It’s a completely ridiculous argument to incite vitriol, anger, and anti-Russian sentiment. It’s our own ignorance that skips over the fact that the worst perpetrators of election meddling is our very own “domestic” companies. I say domestic but that is a term used loosely.

You can be an international company with a corporation based in the United States Of America and that company would be considered a an American citizen. And that “American Citizen” company, would then be allowed to spend unlimited amounts of money to elect the official that will best support their corporate agenda. Take this for a hypothetical example. Anheuser-Busch the makers of Budweiser are considered an American corporation. However they are fully owner under the Anheuser Inbev umbrella. A multi nation conglomerate who is based in Brazil and Belguim. Now if Budweiser had a candidate they thought would best set rules and laws that would help their business. They could then pour billions of dollars into trying to get their candidate elected. How is this not meddling from foreign interest? I’m not saying Anheuser Busch InBev did any of this. It’s just an example I use to demonstrate our very own Supreme court set the stage for anyone in the world to influence our elections. They don’t have to be a U.S. citizen (human citizen) they just have to maintain a corporation within the U.S. And they will be able to completely influence every election held. And our own countries elected officials gave them that right.

Maybe Russia has had their hand in our elections and then again maybe it’s just all fabricated. Just a seed planted in our minds to grow into us to actually wanting to fight with or go to war with Russia.  I hope that’s not the case. My question is what does Russia really have to gain? Did they receive any benefits what so ever from this election? Who knows maybe they are trying to create their own currency and cut out international banking. That will usually earn the ire of those in charge to push for war. Regardless of where you stand on Russia we have to get our own affairs in order first before we go blaming other countries and that begins with over turning the failed and flawed ruling of Citizen United.

Blowing It Scenario #43-Trade Wars Are Here, Brace Yourself.

President Trump Wants To Raise Tariffs On Imported Steel And Aluminium.

This could very well set off a trade war with the rest of the world. I really don’t know how to feel about this. Both sides have a great argument. If we truly are losing billions in trade then it does make good business sense to cease these trades. On the other hand I imagine it can severely raise cost, not only to consumers but to all countries benefiting from trade with the U.S. Which in turn would create more reason for those other countries to retaliate and raise tariffs on U.S. products.

War is never a good word, it doesn’t matter what you are referencing. That is unless you are discussing the card game but even then, that game usually involves infighting and ends with someone holding all the cards. We have seen it countless times throughout history. Cold wars like trade wars or currency wars or nuclear armament, can often end in hot wars. In 1930’s Germany they began to institute protectionism as aspects of free market capitalism were viewed as failures to a nations sovereignty. They instituted public-works programs like autobahns, protected industry from foreign competition, expanded credit, instituted jobs programs, bullied the private sector on prices and production decisions, vastly expanded the military, enforced capital controls, instituted family planning, penalized smoking, brought about national healthcare and unemployment insurance, imposed education standards, and eventually ran huge deficits (mises.org). Which all seem great, and were to a country rebuilding a nation. However it most likely was the issuing of government backed credit that was their first major mistake and the beginning of their downfall. Their we’re much more horrific mistakes in the proceeding years. That is a whole other colossal failure topic. However for this article we’re discussing money and trade and when it comes to finances, the debt collector will as come calling.

Every war in history has been a battle over money you can spin it anyway but it all comes back to finance. It can be over land but that land usually has something of financial value. Or the land is strategically placed near a port or central to operations to obtain near by lands and their prosperity. Most people think the civil war was fought over slavery. This is simply not true, it was a financial war. Lincoln was issuing greenbacks throughout the nation (money back by the government) without any foreign interest. Which is a very protectionist stance against money lenders. However the war itself was over trade tariffs. Which put the country into insurmountable debt that the green backs had to be abandoned. Boston Tea Party, taxes. Hilter’s credit expansion. Napoleon Bonaparte and the french revolution again, began over taxation. Protectionism was instated to prevent further financial decay. Later introduced a government ran bank with new currency and ended in exile and death. The moneyed interest will always come for the pie. So although protectionism seems good for a country’s people and their sovereignty. Some entity, be it a country or a financial institute, with a lot more, will come for their share and usually win it. Often times at great loss. As long as the U.S. doesn’t try to issue their own money outside of central bank control. We should steer clear of a hot war. Good luck Venezuela with you government cryptocurrency. Those who introduce their own currency don’t usually fare well throughout history.

Blowing It Scenario #42-Teacher Barricades Himself In Classroom And Fires Gun.

After All The Talk About Arming Teachers In the Wake Of The Florida School Shooting One Teacher Took It On Himself To Begin The Process Early.

Now this is a terrible action and luckily no one was injured except the teachers reputation. From the sounds of it the teacher was a bit unstable in spite of the fact he was well liked by the students. This was a solo act by one unstable teacher but with his extreme actions he may have ended the debate about arming teachers. I know the president called for arming well qualified highly trained with military background teachers. But shootings can happen any where from elementary school to high school to churches to concert.

There is no way to predict what event these cowards will target next. arming teachers is like putting a bandaid on a shark bite. Real genius move, how do you imagine it will play out when a shooter firing at hundreds of students running for their lives only to dodge return fire coming from these trained teachers. This isn’t the military and no one will ever except friendly fire as an excuse for death in a school shooting victim. On top of that at what point do we stop stacking these worthless bandaids, once the teachers don’t work out do you add more “qualified” weapons specialist just in case their needs to be another line of defense when the teachers fail to engage their targets?

I challenge you to find a military trained elementary school teacher. They usually don’t exist, its predominately, nurturing, caring adults, that want to care for and protect the youth without violence. As a matter of fact, that is most teachers in general. This teacher was a social studies teacher and if you have ever taken a social studies class you know they tend to be highly politically driven. If this teacher was at all like any other normal human being with even a fraction of empathy. His heart probably broke for what happened in Florida. Along with all our hearts. Maybe he was making a point, then again maybe he just lost his mind and he owned a gun. Let that latter part sink in. Even when you are off your rocker insane, you usually still have access to a gun. No specially trained teacher is going to get to a shooting before he or she can prevent deaths. On top of that most of these shooters go into these situations with the full intent to end their lives, after they inflict as much destruction as possible. What good is it in the mind of a potential shooter, of having the full knowledge that their might be a threat of military style teachers defending their schools with guns? What good would that be when the shooter themselves have absolutely nothing to lose? Either way this teacher just proved that it’s a terrible idea adding more guns to a gun problem. Especially in the school environment.

Blowing It Scenario #40-Crony Capitalism On Full Display In Georgia.

Georgia Governor And Other Georgia Republicans Vow To Cut Tax Breaks To Delta Airlines If They Don’t Reinstate NRA Benefits.

We hear about crony capitalism all the time but we rarely get to watch it on full display in the public eye. The Georgia Governor have vowed to pull tax breaks to delta airlines which is based in Atlanta. If they don’t reinstate NRA flight benefits. Let’s take a wild guess who has funded his election? I can only speculate but it would be amazing to me if the NRA wasn’t involved in some form or NRA linked companies.

This is the problem with the Citizen United, Supreme Court ruling. Corporation are not people and yet we classified them as such and now they are allowed unlimited spending on campaigns which inevitably leads to corrupt politicians who look to only benefit their own supporters. Talk about picking winners and losers. The Georgia Governor is literally doing just that. That is not the free market at all. This is precisely why corporate money needs to be removed from elections. We’re a government that is supposed to be for the people, by the people. Corporations are not the people. Granted maybe most of his constituents are gun toting NRA supporters and member. Even if that is true, regardless of that fact he still trying to dictate the market. Government dictating and controlling business is a dictatorship and when a corporations dictate government it’s called crony capitalism. Neither of which are desired by the people. Yet, it’s what politics has become.

Politicians think and act in a way that says, “I’ll support what’s supporting me,” and that task usually goes to the highest bidder. Not your regular old every day citizen. It’s that billion dollar corporation with unlimited funds, that has it’s own agenda, nonadjacent to the people but with the same rights as the people. That’s who’s going to get the attention of the politician. Weird how that all works. I’m sure it was probably an act of crony capitalism that brought Delta to Atlanta in the first place. And Now it’s the same crony capitalism that may dictate their business model in the future. All because another corporate backed entity says so. We as citizens need to find a way to get the power back and the first step would be to over turn Citizens United. Because the over abundance of money in politics has been flowing to both political parties, and the more it does, the divide continues to grow larger. And with that great divide the more it seems neither party tends to have the public’s best interest in mind most of the time. Hopefully we can begin to change that, because whatever this is, it’s definitely not for the people by the people.
